Dr. Adriana Rosado
Dr. Adriana Rosado earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2018. Following graduation, she moved to Virginia to complete a rotating internship before serving as a full-time emergency clinician for three and a half years. She later relocated to California, where she completed a dermatology mentorship.
Born and raised in Puerto Rico— “La Isla del Encanto”—Dr. Rosado’s first language is Spanish, and she is fully fluent in both Spanish and English. Before attending veterinary school, she was a full-time student and track-and-field athlete. She began building her foundation in animal care early, working as a veterinary assistant in both a general practice clinic and a local emergency hospital in Puerto Rico.
Dr. Rosado’s professional interests include dermatology, preventive care, internal medicine, and a growing interest in ophthalmology.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Rosado is an avid traveler and adventurer. Her goal is to climb the highest point in every country she visits—a passion that has already led her to summit Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. When she is not climbing mountains, she enjoys running, spending time at the beach, visiting family in Puerto Rico, and relaxing at home with her husband and beloved cat, Tux.
